Exceeding expectations on a dynamic, evolving landscape

In 2022, Heckford was selected to be involved with a core suite of signage requirements for the Grand National and the team at Aintree was so delighted with what was achieved that Heckford was asked to play a much more significant role in the signage for the 2023 Grand National.

In many ways, the suite of signage would be more important for 2023 as it was the first showcase of the new branding for The Jockey Club.

Client testimonial

Quote

It’s a challenging project as the landscape of Aintree Racecourse dramatically evolves in the lead up to the Grand National… incredible structures, bars and marquees are erected which all require fascia’s, directional signage, fire safety signage and so much more. Then when the event concludes, those same temporary structures begin to come down at an incredible rate so it was important that I and our team were there to carefully remove everything so it could be stored ready for next year.  It’s such a unique project to be involved with but it’s so satisfying to see everything come together and most importantly, the client happy with the result.
