A large selection of off-the-shelf portable lightbox displays is kept in stock by Heckford Signage & Exhibitions. Both indoor and external uses are possible for our wall-mounted lightboxes. They can be manufactured in any dimension, and the depth can range from deep and substantial lightbox shapes to extremely thin wall mounted frames. We offer both freestanding lightboxes that are tool-free and modular in design and are very portable as well as floor standing lightboxes that are popular for retail and exhibitions. The ideal way to illuminate your lightbox display graphic, brighten up a room, and sell your brand and products is with an LED lightbox. A lightbox display: what is it?
A four-sided tension frame with LED lighting incorporated is what makes up a LED lightbox. Aluminium, a sturdy material, is used to construct the lightbox. The metal frame has a unique groove on each of its four sides that is used to hold the fabric graphic in place. A silicon beading is embroidered around the outside edge of the fabric graphic to complete it. A tension finish is achieved by stretching the precisely manufactured fabric graphic onto the frame after the silicon has been put into the metal channel. Either the inside edge of the framework is supplied with LED lights, or a hard rear panel is attached to the back of the aluminium frame. LED curtains, which are often draped inside the light box display frame, are included with certain of our portable lightbox displays. The majority of LED lightboxes come with a transformer, which, depending on the size of the lightbox, may be either inside to the frame or external. Some lightboxes are ideally suited for long-term installation, while others are made to be portable lightboxes that can be easily transported to and from events and set up and taken down repeatedly. Some of our portable light box displays are constructed with an LED curtain suspended inside a tubular aluminium profile. A printed fabric graphic sock that is pulled over the entire frame and zipped shut is included with this style of portable lightbox display.
A portable lightbox display: what is it?
Simply defined, this kind of lightbox is made to be portable and simple to put together, ideally without the use of tools. We provide the broadest collection of portable lightbox displays available off the shelf in the UK. Some of them offer a backlit portable lightbox display solution with edgelit LEDs, while others do so with LED curtains. Additionally, we provide portable lightbox display towers and portable lightbox display counters, both of which use LED curtains to give their LED illumination. A carry bag or wheeled case is included with the majority of our portable lightboxes, making it simple to move them to and from events and to store them when not in use.
A backlit lightbox display: what is it?
As a rule, backlit lightboxes are believed to have a more uniform distribution of light and are less likely to have black spots or sections that are more in shadow than others (often the core of very large lightboxes). They have earned this moniker due to the fact that backlit lightbox displays have LED modules covering the entire surface area of a back panel, unlike edgelit lightboxes, which only have LED lighting modules on the horizontal or vertical lengths of the light box frame. By doing this, regardless of the lightbox’s overall size, you can be confident that the light will be distributed equally throughout your fabric graphic. A backlit lightbox is frequently the more expensive lightbox choice because it is typically carried as a completely assembled unit. This is due to the building method. This means that a more expensive specialist delivery service is the sole option for delivering more conventional backlit lightboxes. Some of our backlit lightboxes deliver the LEDs via an LED curtain that is draped inside the lightbox display frame so they can be used as portable lightboxes. This kind of light box is a great option for a portable, lightweight lightbox display, but we wouldn’t advise using it as a permanent lightbox display in a showroom or retail space.
An edgelit lightbox display: what is it?
An edge-lit light box exhibit has a sturdy aluminium frame, and the LED lights are mounted on the sides of the structure. The LED lights may be attached to the vertical or horizontal lengths of your lightbox, depending on its size and orientation. In order to send the light out via the front graphic, a blockout fabric lightbox graphic is often installed on the lightbox’s back and a backlit light box fabric graphic is installed on its front. The exception is a free-standing lightbox with a print that is backlit on all sides. Edgelit lightbox displays are typically more affordable to buy, in part because of their modular construction, which allows them to be transported in smaller pieces. Contrarily, backlit lightboxes are typically delivered in fully constructed constructions, making them frequently only appropriate for specialised delivery service.
